Lisa Kay Howard

Based out of Warrenton, VA Lisa Kay has been playing with an impressive string of regional bluegrass bands for almost twenty years. Lisa Kay attacks the mandolin mostly in the traditional way, a la Country Gentlemen-era Jimmy Gaudreau. She sings impeccable harmony and contributes pure, emotion-filled lead vocals. Her band features legendary musicians from D.C. and environs, who have known each other from the festival scene for over 15 years and always felt a musical kinship.

The Flint Hollow Band

Bill Emerson said it best, "I think all the lead and harmony singing is excellent. The guitar and bass are solid and the instrumentalists are all very good. The best part is that Flint Hollow has its own fresh sound."

Biscotti Goddess

Artisan baker Jan DeFalco, owner of Biscotti Goddess, fulfills a life-long love of baking – producing her premium biscotti. The biscotti originated centuries ago, thanks to an Italian baker who liked to serve them with Tuscan wine. The idea spread across Italy, and eventually, into many other cultures. The biscotti’s unique texture makes it perfect to dunk in your morning coffee or afternoon tea, or to enjoy with wine after dinner.

If you've tried biscotti before, you know that not all biscotti are created equally. At our Norton Festival, Jan will present her lineup of 13 flavors, ranging from the traditional to the unique. Once you’ve tasted them, you will become a fan. Pair them with some of our Chrysalis Vineyards wines, and you’ll never be without them!

Virginia's own Scott and Sallie Mitchell, from Providence Forge, "keep" their bees using organic principles on private estates, in remote locations. During prime bloom times, they enable the bees to gather nectar flows beginning in early spring and create complex flavors of honey. Bees’n Blossoms produce custom honey products such as Honey Red-Wine jelly from Chrysalis Vineyards Norton, The Real American Grape!®

Simply Cheddar

Simply Cheddar is the newest addition to the Chrysalis Vineyards lineup of quality Virginia food products sold in our tasting room and has received immediate critical acclaim from our guests. Hailing from Waynesboro, VA, owner-artisan Linda Weaver creates a “simple” cheese ball with only the finest aged extra sharp cheddar cheeses without using any processed or cream cheese. It has a little onion for bite and fresh chopped pecans on the outside for crunch. Come meet Linda in person at this year’s festival, and experience how a real cheese ball should taste.
