Medium-bodied and garnet coloured. Violets, sour cherry and a hint of pepper and spice in the nose. Thick tannins, with the violets and red fruits in the forefront, with a complex mélange of tannins and oak in the finish. This wine is at it's best when accompanied with a meal.
Food Pairing Notes
Drink this wine with dishes that are medium-flavored equal to our Rubiana, like roasted chicken seasoned with garlic and oregano; sausage and peppers in a mild tomato sauce; smoked meats in general; as well as many saffron dishes like a hearty Spanish Paella.
