The first impression is of citrus, grapefruit in particular, followed by peach, apricot and perhaps a hint of honeysuckle. On the palate, the upfront sweetness lends a silky character which is followed by a cleansing acidity. More grapefruit and apricot an a touch of honey finish the experience.
Food Pairing Notes
By taking care to produce a wine that is well crafted, and not simply adding a bunch of sugar, we have created a refreshing wine that is also food-friendly. Start off with some Gruyère, Havarti, Gorgonzola and Double Gloucester with water crackers, multigrain crackers with berries and crostini. For your main, you can’t go wrong with Orange Chicken and Pork-Fried Rice. For your dessert course, a simple berry cheesecake or lime pie will hit the spot.
