This Port-style wine is made in the traditional method which originates from the Douro Valley in Portugal. The grapes are fermented for a few days, and then distilled Norton spirits are added to stop the fermentation. The result is a deliciously sweet dessert wine that portrays all the characteristics of Norton. The aromatics lean into a smooth mocha and black cherry nose. The palate becomes filled with a soft warmth that easily carries ripe cherry, a hint of coffee, and creamy dark cocoa finish.
